SAN FRANCISCO — Lawyers from Perkins Coie in Silicon Valley, Seattle, Chicago, and Los Angeles represented Microsoft Corp. in its acquisition of Sunnyvale-based Canesta Inc., which makes chips and software that lets electronic devices respond to users’ natural movements.

The legal team was led by M&A partner Scott Joachim (Palo Alto) and associates Laura Lintner and Elizabeth Lee (Seattle).
