SAN FRANCISCO — A team of Cooley attorneys advised Gilead Sciences Inc. in its $225 million buy of Arresto Biosciences Inc., a privately owned Palo Alto biotech company.

The lawyers, all working from the firm’s Palo Alto office, included partners David Lipkin and Barbara Kosacz , and associates Lila Hope , Tali Sealman and Brandee Winikoff.
