SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals upheld rulings that had allowed a blind law school graduate to sit for the bar exam using the technology she says she needs.
Tuesday’s ruling comes after UCLA School of Law alum Stephanie Enyart already has twice taken and failed the California Bar Exam using her preferred technology. In affirming the district court’s preliminary injunction , which allowed her to use the specific technology she requested, the panel noted that it’s reasonable to assume that she will again sign up for the test and seek another injunction.
