SAN FRANCISCO — Patent-hoarding company Intellectual Ventures has hired Assistant Attorney General David Kris as its general counsel, the Seattle company and the Department of Justice announced today.
Kris, who oversees the Justice Department’s National Security Division, will start March 4. He’ll replace current GC Gregory Landis, who is leaving to explore working with nonprofits and public service organizations, an IV spokesperson said.
