Jonah Frohlich has joined Manatt, Phelps & Phillips as a managing director of Manatt Health Solutions, the firm’s interdisciplinary policy and business advisory division. Frohlich was previously the deputy secretary of health information technology at the California Health and Human Services Agency. Frohlich has a B.A. in economics from McGill University in 1996 and a master’s degree in public health from UC-Berkeley in 1998.

Fenwick & West has added Tyler Newby as of counsel in the litigation group. Newby rejoins Fenwick, where he was an associate from 1999 to 2005, from the computer crime and intellectual property section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division. He received his J.D. in 1999 from Stanford Law School.
