LOS ANGELES Dickstein Shapiro is expanding its intellectual property practice on the West Coast with a new deputy practice leader in Los Angeles and immediate plans to open an office in Silicon Valley.
“The plan here is not just to grow in Los Angeles but all of California and to replicate as best as I can what Dickstein has done on the East Coast and elsewhere,” said Robert Dickerson, who announced on Tuesday that he had joined Dickstein Shapiro’s Los Angeles office as deputy practice leader of IP on the West Coast. “This was just the start of what I hope will be a significant growth period for us in California.”
