SACRAMENTO — Just like Ol’ Blue Eyes, Gov. Jerry Brown does things his way. And when it comes to appointing judges, that apparently means he’ll take a chairman-of-the-board approach.
In a casual chat with reporters earlier this month, Brown pooh-poohed the idea of naming a single person tasked just with naming judicial applicants. “Why?” he asked. “Have you seen all the lawyers we have in this place?”
