SAN FRANCISCO — The Wells Fargo case that appears to be at the center of Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein’s partner dispute with Barry Himmelstein drew new scrutiny after a court filing today.
U.S. District Judge William Alsup, who ordered Wells Fargo to pay $203 million last summer in a class action over overdraft fees, sent out a notice about an anonymous note he’d received in the mail with an enclosed portion of a deposition transcript.
