Denis Shanagher has been named partner-in-charge of Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps‘ San Francisco office. He also chairs the firm’s commercial, employment, insurance and real estate litigation practice groups. Shanagher graduated from Hastings College of the Law in 1981.
Major, Lindsey & Africa has added Ryan Kerian as managing director. Kerian, formerly of Kirkland & Ellis, will focus on recruiting associates for law firms. He earned his J.D. from University of Chicago Law School in 2006.
