The past six months have been tumultuous for this group of 2,500 active and retired bench officers as waves of change — and anger — swept through the system. They said goodbye to a long-time chief justice and welcomed his next-generation replacement. They read a condemning state audit of the branch’s long-awaited computer system, and then watched as three veteran administrators announced their retirements.
