SAN FRANCISCO — Attorneys from Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco are now representing two different plaintiffs suing over Google Inc.’s Android technology in the escalating patent war over smartphone technology.
MoFo sued Samsung Electronics Co. in federal court in San Francisco on Friday on behalf of Apple. Michael Jacobs, co-founder of MoFo’s IP group, along with Managing Partner Harold McElhinny and partners Jennifer Taylor and Jason Bartlett, are asserting patent and trademark claims.
