SACRAMENTO — Today might be a good news, bad news kind of day for the Alliance of California Judges.
The good news for the judges’ group is that Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye this morning named alliance Director Tia Graves Fisher, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, to the Committee on Financial Accountability and Efficiency. Fisher appears to be the first alliance leader to be appointed to a branch leadership position.
