Laurie Hepler was admitted to the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers. Hepler, a partner at Carroll, Burdick & McDonough and chair of the firm’s appellate practice group, earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 1992.
Steven Mayer was elected as the next secretary/treasurer of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers. Mayer, a Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin partner, focuses on appellate litigation and representing public entities. He graduated from UC-Berkeley School of Law in 1974.
