As one of the most visited websites and search engines on the Internet, Yahoo derives most of its revenue from advertising, including keyword search ads, and is a major provider of original content. Founded in 1995 by two Stanford University engineering graduates, Yahoo (Nasdaq: YHOO) reported revenues of $6.3 billion in 2010, down 2 percent from 2009, and net income of $1.2 billion, nearly double 2009′s profit. LEGAL TEAM AND OUTSIDE COUNSEL

Christian Dowell is the legal director for global brand protection at Yahoo. Based in Burbank, he reports to Laura Covington, the associate general counsel for the company’s global brand and copyright division. Michael Callahan, who joined Yahoo in 2003, is the company’s executive vice president, general counsel and secretary.
