SAN FRANCISCO — For the second time in two years, the State Bar’s top prosecutor has made an untimely exit.
Chief Trial Counsel James Towery, who’d been a partner at Hoge Fenton Jones & Appel before taking the job nearly a year ago, announced today that he’s resigning.
