SACRAMENTO — The Judicial Council and chief justice have named Ron Overholt, the veteran No. 2 at the Administrative Office of the Courts, the state’s interim administrative director of courts starting Sept. 10.
The Council in closed session Friday also asked the chief justice to form a committee that will recommend how to select a permanent replacement to the current, soon-to-retire director, William Vickrey.
