The Third Appellate District affirmed a judgment. The court held that the after-acquired-evidence doctrine barred a plaintiff’s claims alleging discriminatory and retaliatory refusal to hire where undisputed evidence showed that the Social Security number submitted by the plaintiff to obtain employment belonged to another person.

Sierra Chemical Co. hired Vicente Salas to work on its production line. Salas provided Sierra Chemical with a resident alien card and a Social Security card, and he executed various employment documents on which he included the same Social Security number and verified the truth of the information that he submitted.
