SACRAMENTO — Judiciary leaders have touted their massive courthouse construction program as a much-needed job creator. What they didn’t mention is that some of those jobs are going to Canadians.
A Southern California business is crying foul after the general contractor for the new Long Beach courthouse awarded an $8.6 million contract to Ébénisterie Beaubois, a Quebec-based millwork manufacturer, over several American companies.
