Sharon Terman received the Stanford Law School Miles L. Rubin Public Interest Award. Terman, a senior staff attorney and Work and Family Project director at Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center, was recognized for her work in enforcing federal and state family leave laws. She earned her J.D. from Stanford in 2004.

Stephen Cassidy has joined Hanson Bridgett as a partner. Cassidy will focus on land use and real estate law. Previously with Sedgwick, he graduated from UC-Berkeley School of Law in 1975.
