Questcor Pharmaceuticals is an Anaheim biopharmaceutical company that creates medications for patients with serious conditions that are tough to treat. It’s best known for H.P. Acthar Gel, an injectable drug approved for the treatment of 19 medical conditions, including acute multiple sclerosis in adults and infantile spasms in children under two years of age. The company reported Oct. 25 that third-quarter revenues jumped to $56.1 million, nearly doubling from the same period last year, while profits rose from $11.5 million to $22.9 million.
