BP Solar general counsel Baird Fogel has joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as a project finance partner in San Francisco.
Fogel, who had been with BP Solar — a subsidiary of British oil giant BP plc — since February of 2009, said he was interested in working with Akin Gump energy partners Adam Umanoff and Edward Zaelke, who came aboard this past May from Chadbourne & Parke.
