SAN FRANCISCO — The California Supreme Court’s boy wonder is already making his mark.
Just shy of the three-month milepost for his time on the court, it’s early yet to forecast what impact Justice Goodwin Liu — the court’s newest and youngest jurist — will have, particularly until his opinions start coming out. But Liu’s presence has already shaken up the pace and style of oral argument in some of the court’s biggest cases, most notably in the high-stakes fight over gay marriage in California.
