Patricia Murphy has joined Moscone Emblidge & Sater as senior counsel to lead the firm’s employment practice. Murphy, who previously practiced as a solo practitioner, as well as with Otis, Canli & Iriki and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, has 23 years of experience counseling and representing employers in wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, fraud, defamation, privacy and trade secret cases, as well as in wage-and-hour class actions. She is a 1988 graduate of University of San Francisco School of Law.
Hood & Strong has added Mark Hancock as tax director, exempt organizations. Hancock comes to the firm from Ernst & Young. He received his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1999 and his LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2000.
