Last October, Fenwick & West launched its own temp agency for in-house legal departments: Flex by Fenwick. Since then, Flex lawyers have worked with about two dozen startups, such as Chegg Inc., YouSendIt Inc. and Logitech.
About 20 lawyers are now part of the Flex pool, with about a dozen currently on assignment. A few come from Fenwick’s ranks, but it’s not a requirement. In-house experience, however, is.
