The Sixth Appellate District affirmed a judgment. The court held that the family court properly declined to require a wife to post a bond in dissolution proceedings to secure the payment of a debt owed by the husband to a third party.
Unhappy that his wife Charlene had filed for divorce, James Guasch solicited her murder. Guasch’s girlfriend, Pamela Carmody, helped. They were unsuccessful and both were arrested. Guasch was charged with solicitation of murder. Carmody was charged as an accessory. Both were convicted.
