David G. Baker (“Attorney Baker”) appeals the bankruptcy court’s order imposing sanctions in the amount of $9,000 against him for violations of Bankruptcy Rule 9011,*fn1 and the denial of his motion to alter or amend that order. Attorney Baker argues that the bankruptcy court conceded that there was some legal basis for his arguments and, therefore, sanctions were inappropriate and “grossly excessive.” For the reasons set forth below, we AFFIRM.
