The Third Appellate District affirmed an order. The court held that the trial court acted within its discretion in disqualifying an attorney from representing his son in a custody dispute involving the attorney’s grandson.
Kayla Kennedy learned that she was pregnant while in a dating relationship with Tyler Eldridge in 2009. Each party was then living with his or her respective parents. Calvin Eldridge was born in June 2010, and a month later Kayla petitioned to establish paternity, requested custody and sought support from Tyler.
