SAN FRANCISCO — The California Bar Foundation, which gives grants and scholarships to increase diversity in the legal community and access to justice, announced Tuesday the hiring of a new executive director.
Sonia Gonzales, who graduated from UC-Berkeley School of Law in 2007, will start with the foundation at the start of the new year. Currently, she serves as interim executive director at the Bay Area branch of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights.
