SAN FRANCISCO — Irell & Manella has selected Andrei Iancu as its new firm managing partner. The intellectual property lawyer takes over on March 1 from Elliot Brown, whose three-year term is up.
Iancu, who’s represented companies like Tivo Inc., eBay Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Co., joined Irell & Manella in 1999 as a third-year associate. His involvement in firm management has included work on the executive committee. He’s also chairman of the hiring committee.
