SAN FRANCISCO — District Attorney George Gascón turned over the investigation of a prosecutor and her husband for domestic violence to the attorney general’s office, officials confirmed Monday.
Assistant DA Sanaz Nikaein and her husband, Faysal Nuri, were booked on misdemeanor battery charges in S.F. on Saturday, Nikaein and AG spokeswoman Lynda Gledhill said. Nikaein declined to comment further and Gledhill said the attorney general’s office is currently reviewing the case.
