A federal judge on Thursday said she was not convinced that Apple Inc., Google Inc. and a handful of other tech employers had taken part in an “overarching conspiracy” to suppress wages by agreeing not to cold call each other’s employees.

But Judge Lucy Koh in San Jose indicated that the proposed class action filed on behalf of software engineers would move forward, although she may break the case into separate class actions.
