The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area has appointed Kimberly Thomas Rapp as its new executive director. Rapp previously served as lead deputy counsel at the Santa Clara County counsel’s office. She received her J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2003.

Ellen Blattel, CEO of Blattel Communications, has joined the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center‘s board of directors. She founded Blattel Communications, which provides public relations and marketing services to various industries including legal, in 1990.
