Google Inc.’s release of a new privacy policy this past week has triggered angry diatribes from users and questions from irate lawmakers.

But not a single lawsuit has been filed in federal court since the company announced on Tuesday that beginning March 1, it will link together the information it tracks on users as they move from one Google service, like search, to another, like gmail or YouTube.
