Lytro Inc. makes the world’s first consumer light-field camera. Unlike conventional cameras, a light-field camera doesn’t just capture one angle or one lighting effect. It captures all the light rays in its field of view, including color, intensity and direction, too.

That means the little pocket-sized cameras, which are currently only available for pre-order, can do some pretty cool things. You can focus pictures even after you’ve taken them, for example.
