The Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center has elected Lisa McCabe van Krieken to a two-year term as board chair. Van Krieken, a partner in the labor and employment practice at Folger Levin, has been on the board since 1995 and previously served as vice chair and as a member of the executive committee. She received her J.D. from UC-Berkeley School of Law in 1985.
The following will serve as LAS-ELC board officers for the 2012-13 term: Scott Fink, a partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, is executive vice chair; Elizabeth Cabraser, a partner at Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, is vice chair; Laurence Pulgram, a partner at Fenwick & West, is vice chair; James Warren, a neutral at JAMS, is vice chair; William Hebert, a partner at Calvo Fisher & Jacob, is secretary; and James Strother, senior executive vice president and general counsel at Wells Fargo & Co., is treasurer.
