SAN FRANCISCO — Investor appetite for initial public offerings is picking up. Attorneys from Cooley in San Francisco and San Diego advised the underwriters in Proto Labs Inc.’s IPO on Friday, and demand for the company’s stock was strong on the first day of trading.
