It’s one thing to sell products to customers. It’s another to ensure those sales will provide a revenue stream for years beyond the original purchase. San Francisco-based ServiceSource provides cloud-based software applications and managed services to help technology companies build revenue from maintenance, support and subscription contracts and the overall customer relationship. The company went public in March 2011, marketed a follow-on offering in July and reported year-end revenue of $205.5 million, up 34 percent from a year earlier.
