SAN FRANCISCO — Wireless broadband networking company Ubiquiti Networks Inc. has appointed Jessica Zhou as its new general counsel and vice president of legal affairs.
Zhou joins the San Jose company from Canadian Solar Inc., where she’d been general counsel since January 2009. She replaces Steven Hanley, who resigned on March 16 as Ubiquiti’s chief counsel. He’d been with the company since May, earning a base salary of $300,000. The company had also granted Hanley 50,000 restricted stock units in June, according to regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
