Q&A: DLA Piper Partner Explains What Makes Information 'Material'

SAN FRANCISCO — Facebook Inc. disclosed this week that its patent battle with Yahoo Inc. could have a “material” impact.

In an amended public offering filing, the social-networking website also said it could be harmed if the “numerous class action lawsuits and other litigation matters” it’s embroiled in aren’t resolved in its favor.
