SAN FRANCISCO — Redwood City app developer RockYou Inc. has settled a proposed privacy class action over alleged security breaches.
U.S. District Judge Phyllis Hamilton in Oakland approved the settlement Wednesday, one day after the Federal Trade Commission announced that RockYou would pay $250,000 to settle charges that it had failed to protect children’s privacy.
