SAN FRANCISCO — As Apple Inc. prepares for an antitrust battle with the U.S. Justice Department, it’ll be relying on more than its outside counsel at O’Melveny & Myers.
The legal department’s first antitrust counsel, Kyle Andeer, will be coordinating much of the defense efforts inhouse. Andeer, hired in late 2010, is a former litigator for the Federal Trade Commission and the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division.
