Superior Court Judge Richard Kramer asked for further briefing on claims that the defendants conspired to make money by fraudulently lowering the plaintiffs’ credit ratings.

Nanci Nishimura of Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy said she was gratified by Kramer’s decision to deny the defendants’ motion to strike the breach of contract claims, and said she felt good about her clients’ Cartwright Act claims against Ambac, other insurers and credit rating agencies.
