Drew Williamson has joined Cooley as a partner. Williamson, who was previously with Latham & Watkins, represents investment banks and issuers in the technology, clean technology and life sciences sectors for capital markets and M&A work. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1997.
Sanford Cipinko and Diane Josephs received the 2012 San Francisco Trial Lawyer of the Year Award. They were honored for their representation of a client who sued California Pacific Medical Center for wrongful termination the jury awarded the client nearly $1.1 million. Cipinko, of the Law Offices of Sanford M. Cipinko, graduated from UC-Hastings law school in 1979. Josephs, of Josephs & Blum, is a graduate of Pacific McGeorge School of Law.
