SAN FRANCISCO Vinson & Elkins is opening an office in San Francisco with six attorneys, headed by former federal prosecutor and Palo Alto-based litigation partner Matthew Jacobs, the firm announced Monday.
It’s the second Northern California office for Texas-based Vinson & Elkins, which opened a Palo Alto office in January 2010 with the goal of adding a cleantech component to its traditional energy practice and to handle intellectual property matters.
