SAN FRANCISCO ­— David Boies’ busy trial schedule caused a federal judge to postpone next week’s retrial of Oracle v. SAP.

U.S. District Judge Phyllis Hamilton bumped the damages trial over copyright infringement to late August since the Boies, Schiller & Flexner chairman, who represents Oracle Corp., is currently in trial in New York for another client.
