SACRAMENTO — The California Supreme Court has told the State Bar to reconsider its proposed punishments for two dozen attorneys, including the one-time lawyer for convicted killer Yusuf Bey IV.

In a single statement attached to each of the 24 pending cases, the court on Thursday said it was returning the matters to the bar “for further consideration of the recommended discipline in light of applicable attorney discipline matters.”
