SAN FRANCISCO Patent litigator Behrooz Shariati has left Jones Day to join Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice in Silicon Valley as a partner.
In October, the North Carolina firm with offices across the mid-Atlantic and Southeast opened its first West Coast office in Cupertino with a team of patent prosecutors. Now it’s adding a litigator with the goal of eventually hiring enough attorneys to provide a full range of IP services for clients.
