SAN FRANCISCO — The market for initial public offerings is heating up this week following a lull in the wake of Facebook Inc.’s lackluster debut in May.

Corporate partners Jeffrey Saper and Jon Avina from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto are representing Palo Alto Networks Inc. in its upcoming IPO. The Santa Clara-based company plans to raise as much as $229 million, according to a regulatory filing Monday.
