Gay Crosthwait Grunfeld has become a name partner at Rosen, Bien & Galvan. The firm will now be known as Rosen Bien Galvan & Grunfeld. Grunfeld, who joined the firm in 2005 and became a partner in 2008, focuses on complex civil litigation with an emphasis on civil rights, employment, business and attorney fees cases. She received her J.D. in 1984 from Columbia Law School.

Legal Services for Children has recognized Rebecca Biernat as a Pro Bono Advocate honoree for her service to Bay Area youth. Biernat, who has been a member of LSC’s pro bono panel for the past seven years, is a counsel in Tucker Ellis‘ trial department, where she practices in the areas of medical and pharmaceutical and mass tort and product liability. She graduated from UC-Hastings law school in 1998.
