SAN FRANCISCO Morrison & Foerster announced Thursday that New York bankruptcy partner Larren Nashelsky has been elected firm chairman, succeeding Keith Wetmore, who’s served in that role since 2000.
Nashelsky, 45, will step in after Wetmore completes his fourth three-year term in October. He is a member of MoFo’s executive committee and had previously served as firmwide managing partner. He joined MoFo in 1999 from Weil, Gotshal & Manges and went on to co-chair its bankruptcy group. He’s a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law.
